Deborah Johnson, BA

Ms. Johnson lives in Virginia with her husband and father; their son is currently serving in the military and her daughter lives locally. Deborah has been married for over twenty years and home schooled her children through high school. Her background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National College of Education, Evanston, Illinois.  She also obtained certification as a Christian Life Coach from Light University, a subsidiary of American Association of Christian Counselors in 2010, though coaching for over 20 years.  Additionally, she has taken extensive coursework/training through Grace School of the Bible, Helpers of Your Joy Ministry and Enjoy the Bible Ministries since 1989. Since becoming a Christian in 1979, daily personal verse-by-verse study continues, examining Scriptures to find practical application, new insights, and study skills, understanding God's design.

Specifically, Ms. Johnson provides individual coaching, guides support groups, and is experienced in topical presentations and retreats. Her background provides depth in understanding life challenges, working in direct service, and in upper management positions in the Social Service field for twenty years. She has worked in various settings: schools, rehabilitation workshops, residential settings, community work sites, a nursing facility and hospital, with various clientele: mentally, emotionally and physically challenged, brain injury, autistic, deaf, and seniors.

Ministries have been primarily centered on teaching women and children in Bible study, Sunday school, Retreats, and Life Coaching over the last 30 years. Ms. Johnson has written four books on how to study the Scriptures and produces a monthly and quarterly newsletter with her husband, to reach the lost or unchurched and to encourage saints in studying, understanding, and living the Word of God. Currently, she teaches 7-10 weekly studies and maintains weekly coaching sessions.

Brian Johnson, BS

Mr. Johnson majored in the field of finance, graduating from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 2010, he completed the Light University Life Coach Program, becoming a Certified Christian Life Coach. Personally, he has spent more than twenty years studying and learning strategies to invest in the Markets, diversifying monies. Additional qualifications have included holding positions as Accountant and Director of Finance for sixteen years.

Biblical instruction includes obtaining a degree at the California Master’s Bible College. However, life changing, powerful instruction to learn how to study, living Grace and Biblical principles came outside of formal education: Countless hours of  personal study in the Scripture, attended numerous Bible courses, through Grace School of the Bible, Helpers of Your Joy Ministry, Enjoy the Bible Ministries, and Millennium Bible Institute.

Brian has personally investigated many Christian groups and denominations over the last 30 years, in order to locate sound Bible Teaching Churches.  Additionally, he has had many opportunities, gaining valuable experience teaching sermons, adult/teen Sunday school and classes, and Home Bible studies. He currently works a full time job, along with teaching 3-4 Bible Studies weekly. He works together with his wife in producing two newsletters and writing publications to assist individuals in their Bible studies.
